Level 1
In truth, many experienced racers have struggled to complete Level One while novice track users have picked it up pretty quickly.
The reason for this is because, experienced racers tend to have developed many bad habits which prove difficult to break.
We cover the fundamentals of racing, which is very different to what most riders, regardless of experience, have been used to.
We also cover the principals of cornering looking at the peel-in, apex and exit points. This may sound very basic, and no doubt these are terms that you may already be familiar with,
however what we have found is that very few people actually understand how to work out the fastest way around a corner and more-so, how to identify peel-in, apex and exit points on a corner.
Level one also covers Braking Points and techniques to help minimise time on the brakes and maximise your speed around a track. Points covered under braking include, front and back brakes, counting gears,
timing, progressive v all-on braking.
