Champion turned Coach
The Race Academy was formally launched in 2007 utilising the experience of former racer Woolsey Coulter, a professional motorcycle racer for over 20 years. Woolsey is one of Ireland’s most successful professional racers amassing a vast array of race knowledge throughout his long and illustrious career. Following an injury in 2002, Woolsey retired from professional racing, choosing instead to concentrate on coaching and mentoring racers. Working with names such as Casey Stoner (former MotoGP World Champion), up and comming racers like Lee Johnston (British Superstock 600 Champion), Woolsey has enjoyed huge success as a race consultant while providing professional tuition to many racers and track-day riders.   -  [Click here for Woolsey's profile]

Our Approach
At The Race Academy, we take a different approach to other ‘Superbike Schools’. Rather than simply teaching riders the correct line around a specific circuit, we go much deeper, examining all aspects of racing. When riders have completed the courses, they will have the necessary knowledge and skill to unravel the mysteries of any racing circuit.
